Business Studies at an Independent School

Due to the relevance and variety of the topics covered, Business Studies is one of the most popular sixth form options at Loretto. Many students consider it to be an excellent first step towards a career in business or finance, whilst others simply view it as an interesting relevant academic subject that provides them the opportunity to develop both numeracy and literacy skills. The department has developed to ensure that all students achieve their objectives for taking Business Studies.

About the Department

The Department is well resourced with ICT used to support the delivery of the syllabus. The department utilises syllabus endorsed software to support individual student learning during holiday periods or when students are on exchange programmes.
