Combined Cadet Force (CCF)

The Combined Cadet Force aim is to provide a disciplined organisation so that its members, both boys and girls may develop: Self-discipline; Responsibility; Self Reliance; Endurance; Resourcefulness; Perseverance; Leadership.

There is an Army and a Navy section that meet on a Wednesday afternoon for training.

As part of the training programme there are opportunities throughout the year to participate in overnight exercises, courses and week-long adventurous training and military camps to enable cadets to put into practice what they have learnt, sometimes in the company of cadets from other schools.
