Paul Lawrie Scottish Schools Championship 2008
After qualifying to represent East Lothian in their bin to defend the title they won last year at Gullane Angus Cappi and Joel Westwell travelend up to Inchmarlo. They played a practice round on the sunday to get accustomed to the course before a demanding 36 hole event the next day.
Angus following in the footsteps of last years captain Tom Hayes who finished second shot two excellent rounds of 70 and 69 for a 1 under par total and a 3rd place finish.
East Lothian were unable to defend their title, but they still managed a very respectable sixth place finish out of the field of nineteen regions. Joel fought back after a difficult first round to post a score for the team in round two with a 3 over par 73 which included an excellent 2 under par back nine.
