Loretto had 3 players competing in the ISGA Intercollegiate Individual Grand Final - Phillip Bueckendorf, Lewis Gregory and George Munsey.
The event was played at Collingtree Park G.C. in Northampton over 36 holes. A field of 50 was assembled with the players qualifying by finishing in the top 10 of the their regional order of merit during the year. Around 20% of the players possessed handicaps of scratch or better.
It was fair to say that conditions were tough and this was reflected in the high scoring. After round 1, Phillip was in joint 5th spot after a round of 75 but he slipped back during the afternoon. Top Loretto performance came from Lewis who finished in 19th position overall.
