Tickets for Nipper Songfest - Thursday 25th March

All Year 4 - 7 parents should have received their allocated ticket for the Nipper Songfest on Thursday 25th March. Please contact the school office if you have not received yours. Please note that Early Years children whose parents are attending the event will be supervised in school until parents are able to collect them.

Year 7 Parents' Meeting

This will take place between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm on Tuesday 9th March in the Nipper Hall. Children will be supervised in school until the end of the meeting.

Nursery - Year 6 Parents' Meetings

Letters have been sent to all Nursery - Year 6 parents giving information about the Parents' Meetings on Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th March. Please could you return the pro forma to the class teacher by Monday 8th March. Confirmation of appointment times will be sent out by Friday 12th March. If you have not received a letter, please contact the school office.

Activity Choices for the Summer Term

Activity choices for the Summer Term have been sent out today. Please return the completed form to Mrs Davies cdavies@loretto.com by email or hard copy by Monday 15th March at the latest. Confirmation of activities will be sent out before the end of term.

Good Vibrations Science Workshop

Year 4 & 5 will be taking part in this visiting Generation Science workshop on Tuesday 9th March. There is no charge for this event as we have been sponsored by Wolfson Microelectronics.

Choir Trip to Aberdeen

Please could all consent/medical forms for this trip be handed in to Miss Ward by Monday 8th March at the latest. If you have not received the consent/medical form please contact Miss Ward cward@loretto.com.

Tesco Vouchers Offer

Next week on March 8th, 9th and 10th Tesco for Schools & Clubs has teamed up exclusively with the Daily Mirror to give readers the unique opportunity to collect additional vouchers for their local schools and clubs to help them save for fantastic equipment! Each voucher featured in the paper is worth three times the value of a voucher obtained in store! Please hand all Tesco Vouchers into the School Office.

World Maths Day

Congratulations to all of the Year 5 and Year 7 pupils on becoming joint world record holders. These two classes took part in the exciting World Maths Day Global Challenge, competing on-line against children from far and wide - from New Zealand to Guatemala and beyond. A special mention to the following who worked on their own volition during break and lunch time to gain 2,000 points plus: M. Jeffrey, E. Milne, P. Elrick, C. Blair, J. Dickinson, D. Pearce , J. Miyake and J. Cunningham- well done all.
