The Friends of Loretto

The Friends of Loretto are all the parents and staff of Loretto school. Everyone is encouraged to participate in social events and to get involved in school activities as much or as little as they are able.

Money raised at this year's events contributed towards new additions to the Animal Club.

Involvement

By working together, parents, teachers and pupils have been able to make a recognisable contribution to school life. In 2005 the Friends of Loretto helped to raise funds for rebuilding and refurbishing the beautiful Victorian greenhouse that stands in the grounds of North Esk Lodge.

Partnership

Our Autumn Fair is a very popular event on the school calendar. Local businesses, parents and pupils set up stalls selling home baking, flowers, crafts and decorations. There are also activities for the children and prizes to be won! The fair is open to the whole community and supports a number of charities.

Fun

The Friends of Loretto support an active social programme throughout the year. The Scottish Night, Winter and Summer Fashion Shows and Book Club provide parents and staff with an opportunity to get together, and have fun.
