A Scholarship or Exhibition is recognition of exceptional ability and promise and is usually accompanied by a financial reward. Scholarships and Exhibitions are awarded on the basis of merit and can be worth up to 30% of the fees (boarding or day). A Scholarship is worth 30% of the fees and an Exhibition is worth 15% of the fees. The number and size of Scholarships and Exhibitions is at the discretion of the Headmaster. In case of need, Loretto will consider applications to supplement the award with a means-tested bursary.
Scholarships and Exhibitions can be awarded from 12+ (Year 8) upwards.
