Support by Form

Second Form

Support focuses on literacy skills and study skills. Three lessons of support are available with one lesson of supervision on a Saturday morning to allow pupils to work on their Prep.

Third Form

Support continues to develop literacy and study skills with a view to preparing the pupils for their two year GCSE work. There will be three periods of literacy support and a period of supervision to allow pupils time to work on their Prep.

Fourth and Fifth Form

Support Learning is available for up to four lessons per week. Pupils bring their own work and seek assistance as required or a programme of support is arranged for them. Pupils are encouraged to focus on their Controlled Assessment preparation.

Sixth Form

Support is timetabled on an individual basis, usually for two lessons per week within a small group. Support focuses on literacy skills and study skills for AS and A2 coursework as well as exam preparation.
